The expansive dining room is divided into cozy nooks, featuring a mix of communal tables, leather banquettes and high-tops, perfect for casual group dining, after-work drinks and date nights downtown.
The menu features fresh, seasonal pastas, salads, burgers, sandwiches and fire-roasted pizzas, along with globally and chef inspired daily specials. For those who prefer to sip and snack, our bar bites, hand-crafted cocktails and curated wines are ideal for sharing and lingering in the lounge.
Chef de Cuisine
As the second oldest of seven kids, Joel Bennett began cooking for his family at a young age. Influenced by his grandmother’s traditional recipes as well as his travels in Europe and Africa, Joel has been exposed to a wide variety of flavours, styles and techniques.
While studying English at Queen’s University, Joel got his start as a line cook. After graduating in 2010, Joel headed north for a culinary apprenticeship at Riverwalk in downtown Bracebridge. Working closely with the Chef David Friesen, Joel spent three seasons learning the ins and outs of everything from ingredient sourcing to butchery.
In Toronto, Joel continued to develop his experience with roles at L-Eat Catering working under Chef Chris Palik, and at Paese Ristorante on King West with Chef Miheer Shete. In between, Joel took several months off to stage in Northern France and study at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. In 2014, Joel accepted a Chef de Cuisine position at Stout Irish Pub in Cabbagetown, where he focused on quality pub fare paired with Ontario craft beer.
In 2015, Joel reunited with Chef Miheer at O&B Café Grill, Bayview Village, where he cooked honest, approachable food in a high volume environment. Now, at the helm of O&B Yonge & Front, Chef Joel looks forward to building a strong team and developing his cooks, as well as serving guests delicious, simple, and well-seasoned dishes each and every day.
